Clinical Engagement Coordinator

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced heart health professional to develop, lead and coordinate a program of activities which will assist the Heart Foundation to identify and support strategies that:.

  • improve the earlier detection and better management of cardiovascular disease risk in primary care
  • improve earlier recognition of warning signs of heart attack
  • improve emergency care for people experiencing warning signs of heart attack
  • improve the acute and secondary care for patients experiencing cardiovascular conditions

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • clinical experience in primary, acute or sub-acute care sector in relation to cardiovascular disease prevention and/or management, with demonstrated success
  • awareness of critical issues and current developments in cardiovascular health
  • sound understanding of state level health structures, processes and networks
  • demonstrable success in negotiating and engaging with Government (federal, state and/or local) and non-Government organisations
  • well-developed interpersonal skills, including proven communication, including presentation skills
