TUESDAY, May 16 Men's Social Jackpot Pairs, with 20 players on the green having fun and playing good bowls the winners were also grinners.
Steve Baxter and Cliff Shaw came in first and the runners/up were Trevor McDonald and John Deegan.
Thursday, May 18 ladies Social saw Carol Crosbie, Adele Allars and Allan Lydiate be in the winning circle again.
Super Saturday 20th May- Numbers were down that day and only 12 players played for the chance of taking home the money.
George and Jill Falzon were the lucky winners ahead of Eddy Szczesniak and Bruce Gordon who missed out by only 1 point.
Alan and Sher Pearson joined in the winning circle by having the lowest score.
A great game of B Grade Singles between Ross Aird and Cliff Shaw was also played on that day with Cliff being the eventual winner 25 - 24 after a marathon of game.
Sunday, May 21 15 members from the club travelled to Boonooroo for the long awaited game for the Shield between these two clubs.
We will have to wait for the return game to our club in September to bring home the Shield.
I would like to say to all members: "What a difference the green will do."
Tuesday, May 23, Past Presidents Day 20 Past Presidents members and 12 CCBC members made it a great day on and off the green at the club.
There were as many raffles as there were bowlers so some members went home loaded up with goodies.
Saturday, May 27 The Marine Shield between Tin Can Bay Men's club and the Cooloola Coast Men's Club was played on this day with not only the weather being great but the games of Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours between these two clubs made the rivalry very entertaining and good to watch.
TCB were the eventual winners with the score of 118 and Cooloola 105.

Sunday, May 28- Ladies Social- With the conditions of play being the lowest winning score Avis Aird and David Griffiths(visitor from Vic) were the happy winners.
The A Grade Singles Final between Sue Ramsay and Wendy Ryan was played on this day with Sue taking out the title of the Singles Champion for 2917.
Two games of B Grade Singles were played also and Gary Holyoak defeated Keith Sykes and Allan Wenger defeated Cliff Shaw.

ON THURSDAY last, Patroness Mavis put on a day in brilliant sunshine and with six rinks occupied, a good day was had by all.
Winners on the day were the Tansey team, Pomona were the runners up.

Thirty four players came along last Sunday morning to play for the prizes on offer and the winners for the day were Barry Daunt, Judy Sieniger, Kris Gerick and Rick Wadrop. Runners up prizes went to Cutty, Kev Day and Nev Bermo.
AT TUESDAY night bowls the raffle was donated by J Watkins and won by B McGuinness.

Monday afternoon, president John welcomed 13 players who had an enjoyable afternoon. High scores were B Lawrence 33, H Everett, Phyl 27, J Barnes 42, J O' Shea 35.
