Big win in Gympie Regional Gallery Great Art Debate

SIZE doesn't matter - in art at least.

As part of the Gold Rush festivities, the Gympie Regional Gallery held its seventh annual Great Art Debate on Wednesday night.

Six debaters kept the audience entertained with the challenging and interesting topic, Size Matters - in Art.

On the positive team were Sue Manton, Warren Read and Karen Blackburn while the negative team was made up of Tim Topalov,

Sally Garrahy and Neil Jones.

The topic brought out the best wit from the speakers who were kept in check by MC Jack Wright who summed up with some antidotes of his own.

In the end the negative team won, proving that size doesn't really matter in art - it's the content that's more important.
