The multimillion-dollar shopping bonanza officially starts tomorrow, and some of Australia's biggest retailers are already offering huge discounts.
Traditionally the biggest shopping day of the year in the US, Black Friday has gained momentum in recent years in Australia, with many sales stretching to Monday and beyond.
In the US more than 160 million people will reach into their wallets over the sales period, while in Australia retailers will be hoping local shoppers also spend big.
Though most Aussies save their bargain hunting for the traditional Boxing Day sales, analysts say Black Friday is catching momentum as shoppers increasingly look to tighten their Christmas gift spending.
With most of the craziest deals available in the US, many customers have been turning to Australia Post's ShopMate parcel-forwarding service, which allows you to get your bargains shipped Down Under.
