Cooloola Coast

WEEKEND of August 18, 19 and 20. It was our Winter Carnival, sponsored by Cooloola Cove Shopping Centre.

Three days of a full green was a joy to see, with lots of happy losers and even happier winners.

Windy conditions, particularly on Saturday made for a trying time on the green.

With teams entered from our local district, Maryborough and the Sunny Coast made for some fantastic bowling.

Friday pairs, Saturday mixed fours and Sunday the major competition three games of men's fours.

Sunday winners (taking out the big money) - were the team of Don Hebberd, Graham Kimball, Geoff Brown and John Clarke (skip) from the Sunny Coast, with Runners up being a local Rainbow Beach team of Gary McKay, Ricki Modin, Jamie Bartle and Kane Skerry (skip).

Congratulations to all winners and a big thank you to our sponsor.

We are hoping to have you all back again next year.
