COORAN's Jimmy Davis was eliminated from The X Factor tonight.
The Gympie-born singer songwriter was sent home from the reality singing show alongside 15-year-old Georgia Denton in a double elimination.
On Monday night the 22-year-old was praised for going back to basics with an acoustic rendition of The Killers' When You Were Young, but it wasn't enough to earn a large enough portion of the public vote.
Davis dedicated his final performance on the show to his mum, and biggest supporter, Robyn.
Fans of the "ranga rocker" took to social media to express their disappointment with his elimination.
Davis hopes to record more of his own music and play at music festivals including The Woodford Folk Festival.
