Bushman’s Carnival brings best of the best to Widgee

IT WAS an exciting Widgee weekend with record entries in all events, beginning with the ladies draft on Friday night right through to Sunday with the pony club events and the exciting finish to the open draft.

The showgrounds, jam packed with cars, vans, trailers and horses, were well-prepared for the carnival, easily withstanding Saturday's overnight rain.

From Friday to Sunday the crowds were well entertained by the excellent riding skills and horsemanship displayed in the ring.

Congratulations to the winners and a big thank-you to all entrants and supporters who travelled from near and far for the duration; also to the judges who gave their time, the many sponsors who donated prizes and the families who donated cattle.
