Changes ahead for the Gympie Junior Rugby League

THIS year will see some changes for the Gympie Junior Rugby League Association, according to club president Ben Dore.

"The mini-mods will be playing on a Friday night at Albert Park,” he said.

The mini-mods include the Under-6 Junior Joeys up to U12s.

The club is also looking to enter an U11 and U12 team in the Sunshine Coast competition but that will depend on the number of players interested in competing.

The new teams will be in addition to the teams competing in the local competition.

"Some players are happy playing in the local competition but this will give players the opportunity to experience a bigger competition, and get a feel for it,” Dore said.

Sign ons for the GJRL will be on February 4 and 5 from 9am to 2pm at the Club House at Jack Stokes Oval.

See their website at www.gympiejuniorrugbyleague.com.au for all fee and registration information.
