"(Three) years on and the pain is still as raw as the day you were brutally taken from us," she wrote.

"There isn't a day that goes by that your not in our thoughts and we wish you were still here. I miss you terribly everyday and my heart aches for you."

Earlier this month, Ms Palmer launched a lawsuit against the State Government and the foster care agency that placed her daughter with her killer.

On Facebook Ms Palmer said time has not healed anything and her heart is broken.

"It makes me sick to my stomach to have to relive what happened to you everyday," she said.

"Especially knowing that you are never coming back and that the putrid scum responsible for taking your life still get to breathe and live their lives everyday.

"We love and miss you Tiahleigh."
