Family Fun Day and dinner to celebrate NAIDOC

NAIDOC Family Fun Day will be held at the Gympie Civic Centre on Friday, July 15 from 9.30am–2pm.

Entertainers include Uncle George Wano and his Torres Strait Islander performers, the Kingaroy Sista Girls, Lyndon Davis and the Gubbi Gubbi Dancers, traditional dancing/story telling, song groups, yarnin’ circle, traditional games, Gundoo/Kids Corner, animal farm and jumping castle, art/crafts, cheap food and drinks and loads of stalls.

A NAIDOC dinner dance will be held at Gympie Pines Golf Club, 2 Shield St, on Saturday at 6pm for a 7.30pm start.

The two-course dinner includes entertainment by Muddy Flats, as well as Murriaoke (karaoke with a twist).
