Find out more about uni courses at free session

AS HIGH school graduates turn their sights to the future, the University of the Sunshine Coast Gympie is offering last-minute advice before enrolments close for semester 1 next year.

Anyone interested in studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast Gympie next year can have their questions answered and tour the uni's Gympie facility at an Options Q&A evening on Tuesday, 5.30pm to 7pm.

The free information event will assist people who have chosen the University as a QTAC preference as well as those who are yet to apply.

USC External Relations Officer Macaela French said visitors could get one-on-one answers and learn more about what USC Gympie has on offer, such as degrees in nursing science, primary education, business and commerce.

"USC staff will offer tips on pathways to university, scholarships, fees, financial support, student services and overseas study as part of USC degrees," she said.

"USC students will share their experiences and offer insights into how to thrive in your first year of uni."

USC Gympie is on the Gympie campus of the Wide Bay Institute of TAFE.

A similar event is also being held at the USC Sippy Downs campus on the Sunshine Coast, on Monday from 4pm to 6.30pm.

To register for either event, go to the USC website at or phone (07) 5456 5000.
