Heritage art prize to be presented

YOU are invited to join the official prize presentation of the Gympie Regional Gallery's annual Heritage Art Competition at 39 Nash St next Wednesday at 3.30pm.

See who has won the first prize of $1000 in the adult section and other prizes in sections for youth and children. Paintings explore the theme, set by the National Trust of Australia, of Discoveries and Re-Discoveries.

See what each artist has discovered about their region in their artworks.

The exhibition will continue to be on view until Saturday, June 11.
