SIXERS WIN: Philippe guides side home with masterful knock
10pm: The Sydney Sixers have won their Big Bash League clash against the Adelaide Strikers thanks to an unbeaten knock from opener Josh Philippe. The wicket-keeper blasted 83 off just 52 balls in an innings which included five four's and four sixes. The win keeps the Sixers in second on the Big Bash ladder.
8.35pm: Sydney Sixers openers Justin Avendano (19) and Josh Philippe (8) have got their side off to the perfect start, with the side 0/28 after four overs.
8pm: The Strikers' innings has come to a close, with middle orders batsman Jon Wells (40 off 28) dragging his side to a competitive total of 6/176.
7.30pm: Adelaide Strikers opener Phil Salt has set a great platform for his side, blasting 25 off just 13 balls before being dismissed by Lloyd Pope. Salt had great support from his captain Alex Carey who scored 29 off 31. The Strikers are currently 5/116 with Jon Wells (18) and Michael Neser (1) at the crease.
6.10pm: The Strikers have won the bat flip and have chosen to bat first.
