One killed, 10 wounded in Israel stabbing attack

A 22-YEAR-old Palestinian man was shot to death yesterday after going on a stabbing rampage that claimed the life of a US tourist in the Israeli port city of Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and left 10 other people in hospital.

Police said West Bank resident Bashar Masalha stabbed several people close to the port before fleeing and continuing his attack in two nearby locations.

He was reportedly shot dead by police as he fled.

The attack was the third by Palestinians on Israelis within two hours.
