ONE NATION state leader Steve Dickson has broken bread with a Nambour cafe this morning after its owners copped a tirade of abuse after a Pauline Hanson press conference.

The current Buderim MP and high-profile LNP defector met with Endless Time cafe owners Paul and Jean Smart this morning, before ordering a big breakfast and a cuppa.

Mr Dickson said he was eager to try and help the business out, after it copped a massive backlash from One Nation supporters over the weekend, who mistakenly believed it had been the cafe that asked Senator Hanson and her group to move on from outside the cafe.

It had been the C-Square complex management that had given Sen Hanson, Mr Dickson and Nicklin One Nation candidate Steven Ford the boot on Friday, advising they weren't permitted to hold the press conference there.

Mr Smart told the Sunshine Coast Daily yesterday of the "diabolical" vitriol they'd received over the weekend, as mistaken One Nation supporters vented their fury at the cafe.

One-star reviews were made online while voicemails and Facebook messages were left.

Others put the call out to name and shame and boycott the cafe and other complex businesses.

"We had nothing to do with it," an exasperated Mr Smart told the Daily.

"We were just in the background."

He said he respected all political views and his wife made it clear they didn't care about race, religion, politics or colour, they treated everyone with the same level of customer service.

"Everybody's got the right to their own political views," Mr Smart said.

"That's why I live in a democracy."

Mr Dickson posed with Mr Ford outside the business, encouraging locals to come down and enjoy some of the fares on offer at the cafe.

"I'd encourage locals to dine here - great food and friendly service," he wrote.
