Top 10 ereaders for tablets

AS WE become more and more engrossed in a digital world, it's no wonder bookworms across the globe have turned to ereaders to get their fix.

Almost every novel, short story and biography you could ever want has found its way into the digital realm, so obtaining your favourite reads is a piece of cake.

And let's face it, a tablet is a heck of a lot smaller to carry around than a bookshelf, and book shopping from your bed, couch or when you're supposed to be working makes it feel less like you're actually spending money and more like you're winning at life.

We went looking for the 10 most popular ereaders for tablets.

Here they are:

  1. Amazon Kindle
  2. Aldiko Book Reader
  3. Google Play Books
  4. Universal Book Reader
  5. Bookari eBook Reader
  6. Nook
  7. Kobo Books
  8. FBReader
  9. PocketBook Reader
  10. Alreader

There are also reader apps for Marvel Comics and DC Comics

These apps are generally free and some come in a free form with an enhanced version also available - for a few dollars.

And many people find they use different apps for different "libraries" of books or comics.

Speaking of tablets...
