DASHCAM FOOTAGE: It appears in a split second and vanishes just as quick, but that's what makes it so scary.

A Lexus has been caught on dashcam travelling the wrong way down the Sunshine Motorway near Mountain Creek.

The dashcam-fitted vehicle rounds a bend travelling about 80kmh and out of nowhere in the inside lane the Lexus appears.

The footage is two years old but was posted on Youtube this week.
