Woman, 35, falls from Mount Beerwah
A 35-year-old woman has been winched to safety by a rescue team after falling from Mount Beerwah.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue's Sunshine Coast rescue helicopter came to the woman's aid after she fell 30m on Sunday morning.
The woman fell whilst descending from the top of the mountain. A Brisbane resident, she had been hiking by herself.

The woman alerted emergency services with her mobile phone, which activated both RACQ CareFlight Rescue and the Queensland Ambulance Service.
Once on scene the crew winched down the Flight Paramedic to her and treated her for minor leg injuries she had suffered.
He then secured her, and both the patient and Flight Paramedic where winched into the aircraft.
The woman was airlifted to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
