Highway reopened following truck crash
UPDATE 2PM: POLICE have advised the Cunningham Hwy has been reopened at the scene of an earlier two-vehicle crash.
A truck collided with a parked vehicle at Yamanto about 9.30am.
A woman was treated for head injuries and taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
11AM: A STRONG police presence remains at the scene of a major crash on the Cunningham Hwy.
A woman has been taken to hospital with head injuries following the two vehicle accident at Yamanto about 9.30am.
A truck sustained serious front-end damage after hitting another vehicle that was parked on the side of the Brisbane-bound lanes, about 1km north of the Yamanto turn-off.
Police have put diversions in place while the scene is cleared. A heavy vehicle tow truck has been called, but police advise delays could continue for some time.

A truck collided with a car that was parked by the side of the Cunningham Hwy at Yamanto about 9.30am.
The truck sustained major front end damage and its trailer rolled onto its side.
Queensland Ambulance Service says a woman aged in her 30s has been taken to hospital with head injuries, but she is in a stable condition.
The initial crash was reported on the Brisbane-bound lanes, about 1km north of the Yamanto turn-off.
Police say a second minor crash was reported on the other side of the highway, causing traffic delays in both directions.
* Firefighters were called to the scene but were not required to use cutting equipment, despite earlier reports.
EARLIER: One person has been cut from the wreck of a vehicle following a two-vehicle accident south of Ipswich this morning.
Police say a vehicle collided with another car that was parked by the side of the Cunningham Hwy at Yamanto, about 9.30am.
One vehicle came to rest on its side and firefighters used cutting equipment to free them.
The accident is in the Brisbane-bound lanes about 1km north of the Yamanto turn-off.
A second crash has been reported on the other side of the highway and police say traffic is moving slowly in both directions.
