Woman taken to hospital after Woolooga snakebite
A WOMAN has been taken to Gympie Hospital this afternoon after she was reportedly bitten by a snake.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were called to a private residence at about 12.49pm, where the woman aged in her 60s told them she had been bitten in the lower leg area.
She was then transported to the hospital, where her condition was listed as stable. The type of snake reportedly involved in the incident was not specified.
