Commences Monday 3rd February 2020
11.30 am to 1.00 pm
Supportive small group setting
This course offers an introduction to yoga and an exploration of appropriate practices to support a sense of calm and ease by settling your nervous system, unravelling unnecessary tension from your body and replenishing your energy.
This is suitable for you whether you are seeking an introduction to yoga; in the process of healing; in need of some time for yourself; are in maintenance mode or you are wishing to move towards a specific goal.
With a gradual approach and gentle pace, you will be guided to progressively weave your awareness into your practice each week as a follow on from the previous weeks' sessions, thus enhancing your capacity of self-observation and self-inquiry.
You will be safely guided to adapt the practices for your personal needs and to respond in a way that moves you towards nourishing and embodying yourself on all layers of your being - physically, mentally, energetically, emotionally and spiritually.
This course is an insightful introduction to yoga for new students and suitable for people wishing to deepen their practice.
Principles from somatic therapy, developmental patterns and pilates may also be explored.
Students are to complete the therapeutic yoga client form prior to commencement of the course. Please contact Sue to request form and to book as course is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
